Texas Memory Systems (TMS) announced that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Integrated Digital Systems (IDS) and Vanrise Solutions to distribute and resell RamSan solid state disks (SSD), the World's Fastest Storage ®, throughout the Middle East and North Africa. TMS' partnership with IDS and Vanrise brings together the world leader in the manufacture of SSDs and one of the Middle East's leading organizations in information technology in the fields of solution development, integration and sales.

"We are very optimistic regarding the potential RamSan system sales growth that this new relationship promises to deliver throughout the MENA Region. The millennial commercial prowess of the Lebanese people is legendary. But more importantly, we will surely benefit from the reputation for competence and fairness that IDS has earned with its enterprise and government clients. The technical expertise of the IDS IT support personnel is well-known and respected throughout the region. We are also excited about our new partnership with Vanrise and its specialization in the development of software solutions for the telecom industry. Vanrise Solutions are in use by telecom operators on three continents. Because the telecom industry is one of the primary markets for RamSan systems, TMS views this new partnership as a 'win-win' for TMS, Integrated Digital Systems and Vanrise", commented Levi Norman, Director of Marketing and OEM for Texas Memory Systems.

TMS foresees that the Middle East region will become increasingly important to the global economic environment in the coming decades. As the manufacturing bases in Turkey and elsewhere begin to take off and the regional oil & gas producers expand their petro-chemical industries, the relative contribution to global economic activity from the area will significantly increase. The Middle East region should regain its historic position as a major provider of not only raw materials, but also of high-value manufactured goods. It is hoped that TMS together with its partners IDS and Vanrise will be able to contribute in part to this metamorphosis.

RamSan SSDs have a proven track record of high performance, durability, and reliability in major enterprises around the globe, the world's largest stock exchanges, and within the infrastructures of many of the largest fixed and mobile telecom infrastructures on 4 continents. With the exponential growth in the size of data bases and the increasing requirement from users to access the information contained in those data bases ever faster, the most rational and cost effective way for an enterprise or governmental agency to increase data access performance is to place the most frequently accessed files and logs onto their fastest storage device, which in the future will generally be an SSD. "And businesses in the MENA region need to jump on this trend train to ensure competitive and quality performance in an ever demanding business environment", agreed IDS GM Jamal Anouti and Vanrise GM Kahlil Yehia.
