ART Marine LLC, the Leading Marine Hospitality Company in the Middle East, announced that it would be introducing its new Stompcraft 38 yacht in the forthcoming yachting races.
The first of the pursuit races is scheduled for September 8 at the Dubai Offshore Sailing Club (DOSC), where the newest member of the ART Marine yacht family will compete in the first rounds of the Dubai Offshore Sailing Club (DOSC) racing season. Around 20 boats of various brands each ranging from 20 to 50 feet are expected to participate in this race.
Commenting on the yacht’s participation, Skipper Mark Feilberg said:  “Stompcraft 38 yacht is ideally positioned to compete in the major races of the forthcoming season as her innovative design gives her a distinct advantage in terms of speed and lightness. She is also designed using the latest technology thereby ensuring that she is ideally suited to the weather conditions in the Gulf,” he said.
Prospective racing yacht owners will surely be watching out for the new Stompcraft 38, the only yacht of its kind in the region, as she is the highest handicapped boat in this race and several others to follow across the nine month season.
Led by Skipper Mark Feilberg, Team Art Marine will have its work cut out as Stompcraft 38 will be the last starter in this pursuit race and the team will have to overcome the smaller yachts that get a head start.
Team ART Marine will be contesting a total of fifty nine competitive days including the races that make up the various club trophies and high profile regattas. Some of these include the Dubai Offshore Sailing Club (DOSC) Commodores Cup, Dubai-Muscat Race, Jumeirah Regatta and Maktoum Sailing Trophy as well as the UAE IRC National Championships, Alan Lamprell Trophy and DOSC Performance Adjusted Handicap (PAH) Series.
ART Marine L.L.C., the exclusive importer and distributor for Stompcraft in the Middle East is providing the new Stompcraft 38, to Team ART Marine.
