ALBAWABA - The older son of Nora Rahal passed away at the age of 22, the Lebanese singer and actress announced Monday in a post via her official Instagram account.
His mother posted on Instagram announcing the death of her older son on June 29. She said, "Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live. With complete faith and hope in the resurrection of Christ, I bid farewell to my beloved son and angel, Alex, and entrust him into the Lord’s hands.
Rahal added, "May the Lord grant him eternal rest, and may his memory be everlasting in our hearts and prayers."
Egyptian presenter Wafaa El Kilani also posted an image of the late Alex and wrote, "With deep sorrow and grief, I mourn the passing of the pure and gentle angel, Alex, son of the beloved Nora Rahal."
She added, "May God grant you patience and solace, Noura, and reward him with his youth in Paradise. Please remember him in your prayers and ask for mercy for him and patience for his mother. To God we belong, and to Him we shall return."
The date and place of the funeral are yet to be announced.
It is worth noting that Nora got married to a Greek millionaire, with whom she had two children: Alex, born in 2002, and Phillipe, born in 2004.
