Centigon, the world's largest, oldest, and most experienced vehicle armoring company, best known for its armored luxury limousines, is also targeting another segment by offering tactical vehicles, which incorporate various mission-specific options, whether it is a discreet, tactical configuration or a special turret system.

Centigon combines more than 60 years of commercial vehicle armoring knowledge to provide superior expertise in ballistics science, automotive engineering, armour integration and personal security. As the Mobile Security Division of Armor Holdings, a company, that provides advanced survivability systems to US and international military forces, as well as major aerospace and defense prime contractors and has pioneered many of the survivability products that the US military relies on, Centigon benefits from this military technical background.

In order to respond to the increasing demand for armored vehicles with tactical configurations, Centigon developed a tactical package which incorporates various
mission-specific options for specific base vehicles. Popular base units are the Chevrolet Suburban 2500 or GMC Yukon XL 2500, Toyota Land Cruiser 100, and Chevrolet Express Van, chosen due to their large capacity, roomy interior and outstanding performance. Designed for inconspicuous use by government agencies, NGOs, and private security forces operating in hostile areas, the exterior cannot be distinguished from their unarmored counterparts. The tactical configuration designed by Centigon enhances the interior space, focusing on durability and functionality. Options include features such as masked gun ports, a slider-style roof hatch, weapon and ammunition storage and tactical seats, among others.

As the need for armored vehicles increases in conflict areas worldwide, customization such as retractable gun mounts, turrets, hatches, and Gunner Protection Kits (GPK) have become a new standard for tactical operations. Centigon is leading the way through its development of such systems on select vehicles like the armored and unarmored Chevrolet Suburban, GMC Yukon XL, Toyota Land Cruiser and Ford F-Series and Chevrolet trucks. Centigon offers a variety of fixed or retractable mounting systems for standard 12.7 mm, 7.62 mm, and 5.56 mm weapon systems. Custom alternatives on select vehicles for systems such as M134 mini gun, TALOS and CROWS are also available.

Centigon’s wide-ranging resources, expertise and flexibility ensure delivery of products that are tested and even customized to meet the specific needs of each customer, whether it is the government, law enforcement or private security sector. They provide full-service support – from concept and development to prototyping and testing to ramp-up production and aftermarket support.
