Syrian Trade and Economy Minister Amer Hosni Lutfi on Sunday discussed with Turkish Minister of Trade and Industry Ali Coskun and the accompanying delegation means of strengthening economic cooperation between both countries.
They also reviewed the steps carried out so far in the establishment of a free trade zone between Syria and Turkey as well as joint free zones and the establishment of border agriculture and trade centers, SANA reported.
Ministers Lutfi and Coskun stressed the importance of enhancing the strong bilateral relations between the two countries in all fields that serve the interest of both friendly peoples in line with the directives of the political leadership in both countries.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Trade and Economy Minister Ghassan Habash, Chairman of the Syrian Trade Chambers Union Rateb Shallah and the Turkish ambassador in Damascus. (Albawaba.com)
