Syrian rebels seized control of the Syrian crossing with the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights Wednesday, AFP reports.
“Nusra Front and other rebel groups took the Quneitra crossing and heavy fighting with the Syrian army is continuing in the surrounding area,” said the director of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
Meanwhile, ISIS militants executed Syrian army soldiers and are holding a group hostage after capturing an air base in northeast Syria over the weekend. The group posted pictures on social media, according to AFP.
