Syrian President meets Jordan’s Premier

Jordan’s prime minister Ali Abu al-Ragheb on Tuesday met with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in the northern city of Aleppo in the presence of Syrian counterpart Muhammad Miro, foreign minister Farouq al-Shara and Jordanian foreign minister Marwan al-Muashar, according to the Kuwait news agency.  

 

Jordanian diplomatic sources said Abu al-Ragheb would present the Syrian president with a letter from King Abdullah II on the latest developments in the Palestinian occupied territories, Iraqi affairs and Arab relations.  

 

In addition, the sources said Abu al-Ragheb would inform al-Assad about the results of King Abdullah's recent communications with the US administration and several European leaders, regarding Palestine and the situation concerning Iraq.  

 

Moreover, the discussions also focused on cooperation and relations in all fields as well as Arab and international issues of joint concern. (Albawaba.com)
