Syrian President Bashar Assad heads Saturday to the United Arab Emirates, his first visit to the Gulf country since he came to power in July, reported the Kuwaiti News Agency (KUNA), quoting sources as saying.
The sources told KUNA that Assad will meet UAE's President Sheikh Zayes al-Nehayan for bilateral talks especially in the fields of economy and trade.
The talks, according to KUNA, will also tackle the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and ways the peace process -- Albawaba.com
