Syrian Minister of Information, Adnan Omran inaugurated in Dara’a Wednesday the Dara’a (Southern area) Radio and TV Center. Omran was briefed on different sections of the center and the services it provides by covering different events and activities of the governorate, SANA reported.
Later on, Omran met with media personnel and briefed them on the importance of covering all Syrian governorates with radio and TV centers in the context of the information ministry’s role in the modernization and development process under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad.
Furthermore, Omran stressed Syria’s support for the heroic “Intifada” in defense of land, homeland and holy sites, the agency added. Omran answered questions raised by the media men of Dara’a regarding different media aspects.
