Army units directed strikes against Daesh militants in Tal al-Hattabat village 55 kilometers to the east of Aleppo city, destroying their bases and vehicles and killing a number of them, a military source said in a statement to SANA.
The source said another army unit destroyed arms and munitions held by Daesh in the surroundings of al-Nairab Airport 10 kilometers to the east of Aleppo, while other units directed intensified strikes against supply routes of terrorist organizations in the surroundings of Khanaser town in the southeastern countryside of Aleppo, destroying a number of vehicles and munitions.
In the western countryside of Aleppo city, army units inflicted heavy losses in personnel and munitions on the Daesh militants during operations targeting their dens and gatherings in al-Layramoun, al-Zahra’a and al-Mansoura 10 kilometers to the west of the city.
Army operations also targeted hotbeds of Daesh militants in some neighborhoods of Aleppo city, as the army units directed strikes against them, causing significant losses in Salaheddin, al-Rashideen 4, Bani Zeid and al-Sakhour neighborhoods.
