Syria and Turkey are planning to cooperate in new areas of common intrest such as agriculture, The Middle East News OnLine (MENL) reported.
The Turkish Agriculture Minister Husnu Yusuf Gokalp was quoted by the MENL as saying that “Ankara and Damascus will sign a technical, scientific and cooperation on agriculture during Gokalp's visit.”
The five-day visit, according to the news service, begins on March 25th when Gokalp and an official Turkish delegation and executives will discuss with their Syrian counterpart a number of issues.
