Fourteen rockets from Syria hit the northeastern town of Arsal Tuesday, causing material damage, a Lebanese security source told The Daily Star.
A rocket launcher in the border Syrian town of Al Qusair fired the missiles into Lebanese territory, landing between Marj Arsal and Khirbit Daoud, the source added.
The rockets landed in mainly agricultural areas.
Al Qusair was the battle ground between Hezbollah-backed regime forces and rebel groups last year. Recent reports said that Syrian rebels were attempting to regain control of the area where several Lebanese Shiites reside.
Arsal, which now houses thousands of Syrian refugee families, has been a target of similar rocket attacks on several occasions.
