The UN Resident Representative in Syria, Ali Zaatari, stressed the need of fruitful cooperation between the UN and Syrian pressmen and the pressmen working with the international organization in all fields in order to shed light on its development projects in Syria.
According to SANA, Zaatrai told a news conference at the UN Office in Damascus in the presence of Mr. Najib Freiji, Director of the UN Media Center in Lebanon and some Arab countries, that the UN programs aim directly spreading peace, security, disarmament, poverty eradication and environment protection.
