A man suspected of having detonated the car bomb in Netanya, north of Tel Aviv, that critically wounded him, and injured at least 40 other people last week, died of his wounds Monday, reported Haaretz newspaper, quoting the Army Radio.
The man's identity has yet to be determined, but security officials have become increasingly convinced that the dead man was the bomber, the radio said.
No one came to visit the man during his stay in the hospital, it added.
Following the attack, Israeli security forces imposed a complete closure on Palestinian territories, and closed Gaza Airport -- Albawaba.com
