Reuters reports that a series of suicide bombings north of Baghdad killed 15 and wounded 22.
The attack occured at Camp Speicher, a former US military base near Tikrit. Two bomber detonated car bombs at the gate, while three more entered the camp and set off their explosives inside the base, according to Reuters.
Daesh claimed responsibiity for the attack.
Daesh recently suffered a major blow as Iraqi forces reclaimed the embattled city of Ramadi and pushed the militants to the countryside.
