Strong earthquake jolts Vanuatu

ISTANBUL

A strong earthquake jolted the Pacific Island nation of Vanuatu on Monday, the US Geological Survey said.
 

According to the USGS, the earthquake measuring magnitude 6 on the Richter scale shook the Norsup area on Malakula Island in the Malampa province.

The earthquake was reported at around 0504GMT and its depth was measured at 96 kilometers (59.6 miles).Strong earthquake shakes Vanuatu
