Speaker: Kuwaiti parliament provides "democratic means"

In comments published Wednesday, National Assembly Speaker Jasem Al-Kharafi stressed the Kuwaiti parliament provides "democratic means" for all sects of the society to express their views. According to him, the parliament plays an important role in facing terrorism as a legislative authority, adding that parliament must respond to any emergency affecting national security.
