Senegal qualified for the finale of the 23 African Nations Basketball Championship after winning a smashing victory over Algeria (80-48) on Tuesday evening August 23 at Mohamed Boudiaf Complex in Algiers. Despite the efforts of the Algerian players Bouziane and Boughedir, Algerian squad could not stop Senegalese Boniface Ndon (25 points) and Maleye Ndoye (16 points). After its victory over Algeria, Senegal will face Angola for the final of the 23rd African Championship.
