According to BNA, a small bomb exploded on Sunday in a neighborhood south east of the Egyptian capital, severely injuring the bomber, said an Egyptian security source here.
The explosion, caused by a primitive bomb, occured near the entrance of the building where the bomber lived, added the source in a short statement. The 33-year-old bomber, Jamal Ahmad, has worked at Qasr Al-Ayni Hospital in Mid-Cairo, said the source without affirming if the bomber had terrorist motives.
