British Luxury Carrier Calls Dubai’s Biennial Aerospace Exhibition ‘Global Sales and Marketing Platform without Equal’

Senior executives with Silverjet, the British commercial airline offering a private jet experience, have called their participation at this year’s Dubai Airshow an unqualified success.
Silverjet, which began its operations on 25 January 2007, currently offers a twice-daily service between London and New York, with its Dubai-London service commencing daily operation from 19 November.
‘From the strong level of support of the Dubai Civil Aviation authority to the superior quality of exhibition attendees visiting our aircraft, the Dubai Airshow 2007 has proven, for Silverjet, to be a global sales and marketing platform without equal,’ said Katherine Gershon, Silverjet’s Director of Sales and Marketing.

The airline took extraordinary measures to ensure that all visitors to its staticly-displayed Boeing 767 ‘Silver Lining’ aircraft were treated to a private aviation experience.  A full complement of flight and cabin crew warmly welcomed each guest onboard, with gourmet food and a range of drinks made available.

‘We are very proud of the Silverjet experience, and we wanted to give each and every ‘Silver Lining’ visitor – from corporate procurement officers to aviation executives – a chance to see for themselves the uniqueness of the Silverjet brand.  The Dubai Airshow 2007 gave us that opportunity for three solid days,’ added Gershon.

Silverjet flights will depart from the Executive Terminal at Dubai International Airport daily at 1030 and arrive in London Luton Airport at 1445. Return flights depart from the airline’s Private Terminal at London Luton at 2100 and arrive in Dubai the next day at 0830.

Connecting flights to New York Newark will also be available, departing London Luton Airport at 1645.
