Seven people were killed and three wounded when four masked gunmen burst into an abandoned Philadelphia row house and started shooting, police said Friday.
Police would not confirm local news reports that illegal drugs were involved in the shooting, which occurred at 8:15 PM (0115 GMT). A police spokeswoman said there also was no indication the shooting was gang-related.
"It's early in the investigation and we're looking at everything right now," Officer Carmen Torres said.
Six men were pronounced dead at the scene, and four others -- two men and two women -- were taken to the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, where one of the women died shortly upon arrival, Torres said.
