ALBAWABA - A robust earthquake measuring 7.6 in magnitude struck Mindanao Island in the Philippines today. The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) swiftly confirmed the earthquake's intensity.

In a seismic event that unfolded in Mindanao, Southeast Asia, the region experienced a powerful earthquake registering 7.6 on the magnitude scale, as reported by the EMSC. The earthquake has raised concerns due to its substantial magnitude, prompting authorities to closely monitor the situation.

Tsunami Alert Following Earthquake's Tremors

The United States Geological Survey (USGS) also reported seismic activity, pinpointing a 7.6 magnitude earthquake east of Mindanao. With the earthquake originating approximately 30 kilometers deep, a tsunami alert has been issued for the region.
