Several people were injured Sunday when a dispute between supporters of the Lebanese Hizbollah movement and Amal degenerated into a brawl in the Bint Jbeil area in southern Beirut, reported the Daily Star newspaper Monday.
The original altercation began with just two men, but others soon joined in when the argument turned physical.
There were reports of shots being fired, said the paper.
Security forces personnel intervened quickly and were deployed throughout the town.
