Sesame Street at Dubai Festival City witnesses huge crowds
Dubai Festival City, a key sponsor of DSS 2008 and a member of Dubai Shopping Malls Group, witnessed massive crowds for the opening show of the world popular television animated series – Sesame Street on July 21. Children and families cheered the Sesame Street cast as they performed the first of shows to run till August 3.
The 30-minute show, called 1-2-3-Imagine!, is full of entertaining music, exciting choreography combining education and fun. The show features sing-alongs, dancing, and many elements of audience participation. Characters in the show feature Sesame Street favorites such as Elmo, Cookie Monster, Bert & Ernie, Grover, and Zoe.
The Sesame Street cast put up an exciting, colourful show, and once all the characters joined in on the stage, the cast performed a perfectly choreographed dance. This was followed by a ‘meet and greet’ session where they came down to pose with children for photographs.
The show will go on till August 3rd at the mall with three daily shows at 5:45, 7:30, and 9:15pm.
