Senegalese President in Tunisia for Talks on Bilateral, Regional Issues

Senegalese President Abdoulaye Wade arrived in Tunis Wednesday for talks with his Tunisian counterpart, Zein El Abideen bin Ali, on bilateral and regional issues, reported the official Kuwaiti news agency (KUNA). 

Wade’s visit to the Arab African country is the first by a Senegalese head of state in 15 years. 

Senegal is Tunisia's primary trade partner in the sub-Saharan region. Trade volume between the two countries totaled $12 million last year, said the agency - Albawaba.com,
