Following the success of last year’s edition, the second edition of the festival of Chefchaouen is scheduled to take place from July 07 to July 09." The event is organized by the Moroccan Agency for the Promotion of Economic and Social Development in the northern provinces of Morocco, in partnership with the council of the city of Chefchaouen.
<i>EMarrakech</i> reports that this new edition of the festival, like 2004 edition, is aimed at assisting the rehabilitation and the spread of the popular musical traditions of the region and encouraging its interaction with modern music styles.
