A school teacher was confined to a mental hospital after he went berserk and attacked 15 of his pupils with blows, police officials said in statements published Thursday.
The parents of at least four teenagers beaten up by the unnamed teacher filed a criminal complaint against him, spearheading calls for his permanent expulsion from school, Al-Dustour newspapers said.
The incident occurred Wednesday in a school in downtown Amman when the teacher -- who was said to have undergone recent psychiatric treatment -- began hitting students left and right for no apparent reason – AMMAN (AFP)
