Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management, recently brought together its market partners from throughout the MENA region at its first annual Partner Exchange Conference.
The conference, held at the prestigious Meydan Hotel, Dubai, was the first event held by Schneider Electric's Building Business Unit and provided a platform for channel partners to interact, network and be educated in the latest solutions for revolutionizing the way end-users manage energy in their buildings.
Schneider Electric Building's Business, which is responsible for designing and implementing innovative building management systems, and was held as part of the effort to educate and inform channel partners about programs being driven by Schneider Electric at a global level for better energy management.
Speaking about the conference, Georges Barbarin, Buildings Business VP - Gulf Countries, commented; "The Partner Exchange offered the perfect set-up to share the strategic vision of the Schneider Electric Building Business division. It was the first time that partners and integrators from the Middle East countries gathered together, thus lots of exchanges and contacts were generated.
"The fact that most partners recommended this event to be duplicated and extended to 2 days next year, confirms the interest for such an exchange and the great success of this first meeting. The one day event was attended by over 85 Schneider Electric members and partner representatives from the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and promoted the ONE programme, which highlights the renewed focus on customer satisfaction and the importance of educating channel partners on cross-selling options.
Participant partner Ausaf from Bader Al Mulla in Kuwait said; "The partner exchange in Dubai provided an opportunity to meet Schneider Electric's other partners in the Middle East. The presentations opened up possibilities for partners to expand in new areas such as Integrated Solutions and Service. I hope that such events are followed-up with actions which will help all of us in establishing Schneider Electric as the dominant integrated Building Management Systems brand in the region."
