Saudi Arabia has suspended all schools in Najran, a southern region near the border with Yemen, Saudi state TV reported Tuesday, as Iran-backed rebels fired mortar shells and katyusha rockets toward the town.
Witnesses in Yemen told Reuters Saudi forces shelled Yemen across the border after the Shiite militants fired rounds toward the kingdom.
