Saudi Royals Donate Millions to the Wild Life Support Fund

King Fahd bin Abdulaziz has donated five million Saudi riyals ($1.3) to the Wild Life Fund (WWF), reported Saudi Press Agency (SPA). 

Meanwhile, Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz gave the fund three million and Minister of Defense Sultan bin Abdulaziz donated two million to support the fund. 

The donations were announced by Prince Sultan in Riyadh Sunday evening during an honorary party of the fund, said SPA. 

Known worldwide by its panda logo, World Wildlife Fund is dedicated to protecting the world's wildlife and wildlands, according to WWF’s website. 

The largest privately supported international conservation organization in the world, WWF has more than 1 million members in the US alone. Since its inception in 1961, WWF has invested in over 13,100 projects in 157 countries – Albawaba.com
