Saudi Arabia's Minister of Justice and Islamic Guidance, Sheikh Saleh bin Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh denied, in comments published Sunday, accusations that the kingdom and Saudi charity foundations are supporters of terrorism.
Al-Sheikh termed these accusations as "invalid" and that Saudi Arabia is considered one the first countries to suffer from this phenomenon.
Interviewed by the Saudi Okaz daily newspaper, Al-Sheikh noted the importance of the international counter-terrorism conference, organized by Saudi Arabia, to boost the world efforts in this regard and to adopt a unified program to fight all forms of terrorism, which is considered a threat to the international community's security and stability.
He pointed out to the role played by the ministry in clarifying the concept of terrorism to 200 suspects in relation to the explosions which took place in the kingdom.
