Saudi Arabia on Monday created a water ministry by separating it from the former water and agriculture ministry, reported the official Gulf News Agency (GNA).
The decision was taken at the Saudi cabinet's weekly meeting, which was chaired by King Fahd.
Information Minister Fuad Al Farisi said the new ministry would supervise all sectors dealing with water, and work out a national plan for the resource – Albawaba.com
