Saddam sends letter to Oman’s Sultan

Oman's Sultan Qaboos bin Saeed on Sunday received a letter from Iraqi President Saddam Hussein focusing on relations and recent developments in the region.  

 

Iraq's Foreign Minister Dr. Naji Sabri delivered the letter to Sultan Qaboos on Sunday during a visit to the country, Oman News Agency said. In the course of the meeting, cooperation between the two countries was discussed, in addition to developments on both the Arab and international arenas, the agency added.  

 

Oman's Minister for Foreign Affairs Yousef bin Alawi bin Abdullah attended the meeting as well. Sabri arrived in the Sultanate of Oman on Saturday in the framework of a trip to several countries in the region. (Albawaba.com)
