Iraqi President Saddam Hussein called Tuesday on Arab states to use force to liberate Palestine from the Israeli occupation, pledging that his country and seven million volunteers of his people will be in the forefront of the battle.

"We do not agree to any deals on Palestine, all of Palestine from the Jordan (river) to the Mediterranean, including Jerusalem, its crown," he added, reiterating rejection of peace settlements with Israel.
But Saddam’s speech had no mentioning of Kuwait. Reports said that a solution was reached to end the conflict between the two countries after Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak interfered personally to draft a resolution that Iraq agreed to – Albawaba.com
