Russian per capita net income grew 3.8 percent in November compared to the previous month and by 11.1 percent in relation to November 1999, official statistics published Monday showed.

Post-tax revenue in Russia in November reached 2,366.4 rubles (84.5 dollars), the State Statistics Committee said, cited by ITAR-TASS.

Real wages, taking into account inflation, increased by 2.9 percent in comparison with the previous month and by 21.9 percent in relation to November 1999.

The average Russian pre-tax salary increased to 2,534 rubles (90.5 dollars) in November.

Household income levels took a huge plunge after the August 1998 financial crash, diving by 15 percent in 1998 and 16 percent in 1999. They are still some 20 percent below where they stood before the crisis -- MOSCOW (AFP)
