A high-ranking Russian business delegation promised on Tuesday to set up a trade office in Lebanon to boost trade volume and promote Lebanese exports in Russia, the Daily Star reported Thursday.
Anatoli Lisitsin, the governor of Russia’s Yurslav County, was quoted by the daily as saying that his country was keen to bolster trade ties with Lebanon because the latter is a gateway to the whole Middle East region.
