ALBAWABA - The mayor of Moscow said in a statement that the capital was targeted in an attempted drone strike.
"As of now, the attacks have been repelled by air defenses. All of the detected UAVs were destroyed," Sergey Sobyanin added.
Russia’s Defense Ministry revealed in a report that a total of five "Ukrainian" drones were counted over Moscow.
Earlier, Russian air forces intercepted at least three drones which were believed to be heading toward the capital Moscow on Tuesday, TASS reported citing Russian officials.
According to an emergency source, two incoming UAV drones were shot down on the outskirts of Moscow. The third one was allegedly destroyed in the Kaluga region, southwest of the Russian capital.
