ALBAWABA - The mayor of Moscow said on Monday that more than 400 "enemy drones" were launched toward the Moscow region overnight Sunday into Monday, adding that "most" of them were shot down.
June marks worst month of the war for Ukraine as Russian invasion drags on with no end in sightSergei Sobyanin wrote on Telegram: "Between 8:30 p.m. and 5:00 a.m., more than 400 hostile drones headed toward the Moscow region."
He added: "Most of them were neutralized by air defense forces and are still far from the city, while 85 drones were destroyed as they approached Moscow."

Nonetheless, The Moscow Times reported Monday that Ukraine struck Moscow and the surrounding region with hundreds of drones overnight, leaving about 10 people, including a child, injured.
The local news agency added that multiple fires erupted as a result of drone interception.
According to Reuters, Ukraine carried out drone attacks on Saturday, killing seven warehouse workers and injuring dozens more, regional governors said, adding that another attack caused a blaze at an oil depot in the wider capital region.
