ALBAWABA - Al Jazeera's journalist reported three rockets launched from southern Lebanon targeting an Israeli military post early Friday. Israel claims to have destroyed 100 Hezbollah missile launchers after a night of fighting.

The reporter reported missiles hitting Israeli Metula in the Galilee Finger. Israeli media reported two missile landings in Metula, near Lebanon.

On Thursday, Hezbollah attacked 17 Israeli sites. Emergency measures in Upper Galilee and the Hula Valley due to Lebanon rocket fire were withdrawn by the Israeli military.

Israel's military said it destroyed 100 Hezbollah missile launch facilities in southern Lebanon after intensive attacks on numerous cities. After Tuesday and Wednesday explosives targeting thousands of Hezbollah communication equipment, hundreds died.

According to Lebanon's National News Agency, Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon have topped 52 since Thursday night. These targeted forests in Mahmoudiyah, Aishiya, Rihan Heights, and Barghuz River areas. Casualties are unknown.

The bombings follow Israel's decision to move operations from Gaza to the north. Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said military activities against Hezbollah are entering a "new phase of the war," with high risks to restore northern people home.

The "Wall Street Journal" reported yesterday that the U.S. is ready to evacuate its people in Lebanon. A naval evacuation of 50,000 Americans, residents, and their families to Cyprus is possible.
