Israel is close to opening its first embassy in Syria

ALBAWABA - Syria and Israel are close to concluding a security agreement, with the mediation from the United States, a Hebrew media report revealed. The agreement could include "leasing the Golan Heights for 25 years" and "opening an Israeli embassy in Damascus," the report by i24NEWS mentioned.
