Qatar mediates talks to release Gaza detainees in exchange for ceasefire

ALBAWABA- Reports have emerged about ongoing negotiations, brokered by Qatar, aimed at securing the release of approximately 10 to 15 individuals currently held by Hamas.

 In exchange for this release, there is a proposal to halt operations for a day or two. 

Israeli media sources have also confirmed Qatar's involvement in these negotiations, focusing on securing the freedom of prisoners in Gaza in return for a ceasefire. 

Meanwhile, Egyptian sources indicate that significant progress has been made, and parties are nearing an agreement for a humanitarian truce in the Gaza Strip, contingent on the exchange of detainees.
