President Henrique Rosa of Guinea-Bissau called Libyan leader late Wednesday. During the conversation, Rosa briefed Colonel Muammar Qaddafi on the "circumstances of the attempt to destabilize his country" last week, the Libyan press reported.
President Rosa affirmed to Qaddafi during their telephone call the stability and return of the situation to normal in his African country, expressing his gratitude for the interest of Qaddafi in the stability of the situation in Guinea-Bissau.
On Oct. 6, many soldiers carried out an attack the country's the military headquarters in Bissau, demanding back pay for their overseas duties.
