Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in a phone conversation with Russian president Vladimir Putin Wednesday afternoon, expressed his condolences over the loss of all 224 lives aboard the Russian passenger plane that crashed in Egypt's Sinai in late October.

Netanyahu and Putin also discussed the situation in Syria and the Arab-Israeli conflict.

They agreed to meet in ten days at the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Paris to discuss Syria.
