An Iranian prison governor and his deputy have been arrested amid an investigation into a massive fire, which took place last month, killing 27 inmates.
On Tuesday, the Hambastegi newspaper said the two prison officials from Gorgan, northeastern Iran, were facing charges of manslaughter and violating prison regulations.
According to reports, the two officials were unable to post bail, and were being detained pending trial. (Albawaba.com)
