The six candidates standing for April 8th presidential election continued Saturday, on the third day of the electoral campaign, their activities, stressing the need to democratise the country's political life. In the provinces of Laghouat, Tamanrasset, Illizi and Ghardaia, President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, affirmed that the National Liberation Front (FLN) "belongs to the Algerian people as a whole," denying "anyone the right to seize it." "No one can monopolise the FLN party, which represents our conscience and which taught us yesterday how to take up arms to fight and free Algeria."
