President Assad, King Abdullah meet in Amman to discuss Arab summit

Syrian President Bashar Al Assad arrived in Amman on Wednesday on a short visit for talks King Abdullah II on the current regional situation as well as preparations for convening the Arab summit. 

 

Upon arrival, President Assad, who was accompanied by Syrian Foreign Minster, Farouq Sharaa, was received by King Abdullah II, Prime Minster, Faisal Fayez, Minster of the Royal Court ,Samir Rifa'i, and Foreign Minister ,Marwan Muasher. 

 

The last time the two leaders met was about two months ago in Damascus. 

 

On Tuesday, President al-Assad was in Doha for an official visit to Qatar. (Albawaba.com)
