A vehicle struck three people who were injured lightly in the city of Acre, Israel police announced Sunday morning.
The police reported one person was injured near the city's market and two others were injured near the train.
Police said a jeep hit a border policeman and two others where injured, while a third person at the scene opened fire at the vehicle and the driver was shot and injured. A report from ZAKA indicated the two others injured were soldiers, but it was unconfirmed by other authorities.
According to Magen David Adom, the injured were evacuated to a hospital in Nahariya for treatment.
The IDF said they were looking into the background of the incident.
