A plane carrying 100 people crashed in the jungles of Peru on Wednesday killing dozens of people. The crash occurred amidst stormy weather just short of the plane's expected landing in Pucallpa Airport.
Peruvian officials reported that so far 52 have survived the crash, but that exact numbers on the fatalities were not yet available, according to <i>CNN</i>.
Officials announced that among those aboard the plane were 11 Americans, two Italians, one Spaniard, one Colombian and one Australian.
