ALBAWABA - According to news outlets in Israel on Saturday night, a picture supposedly showing the body of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was shown to U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after he was said to have died in recent airstrikes.

Israeli Channel 12 reports that Netanyahu looked at papers that were said to prove that Khamenei's body had been found in the rubble after a joint U.S.-Israeli attack on his protected compound in Tehran. Reports say that President Trump was also shown the picture.

Sources told Reuters that Khamenei had been killed and that his body had been found after the attack. But an Iranian official denied the reports and said that they might be "psychological warfare" in the middle of the battle.

A separate story from Axios said that Israel's minister to Washington told top U.S. officials that the Israeli attack killed the Iranian Supreme Leader.

There has been no official word from Tehran about the death reports of Khamenei. The Iranian government has not yet issued a comment confirming that the alleged photograph is real.

According to reports, the attack on Khamenei's property is a major step up in the fighting between Iran, Israel, and the US. Different reports keep coming out with different information about the state of Iran's top leaders.
