Clashes between Palestinian demonstrators and Israeli forces erupted Tuesday at the Ayosh junction near the West Bank city of Ramallah, reported the Jeruasalem Post newspaper, quoting Israel's radio.
The report added that Israeli soldiers were using rubber bullets to disperse the demonstrators.
No injuries are reported, said the radio.
Haaretz newspaper said that Palestinian demonstrators hurled three molotov cocktails at an Israeli army outpost in Kalandia town located between Ramallah and Jerusalem.
It added that there were no injuries.
The paper said that four molotov cocktails were also thrown at border policemen near Hebron. No injuries were reported in the incident as well.
The Jerusalem Post added that demonstrators also threw two bottles of acid at a number of Israeli soldiers in the area.
In the meantime, the paper reported that dozens of Jewish settlers in Hebron were blocking the Halhul bypass road to Palestinian vehicles.
They said that the Israeli military was not fully implementing the closure on Palestinian cities.
Israeli forces sealed off all West Bank towns under Palestinian control on Monday after five Israelis were killed by Palestinians, Israel's commander of central operations said, according to AFP.
"We are going to take the necessary security measures to improve the safety of the traffic, and do our best to get all of those who are terrorists," Major General Yitzhak Eitan said.
The towns affected were so-called "A-areas" which are under Palestinian control in the West Bank, and include Ramallah, Nablus, Hebron, Bethlehem, Jericho, Qalqilya, Jenin and Tulkarem - Albawaba.com
